At ChurBowl, I operate as a solo maker. Every piece is hand-drawn, digitally designed, 3D printed, and finished by me alone. Because these are not mass-produced items sitting on a shelf, your order enters a production queue the moment it is confirmed.
1. Production Timelines
Due to the custom nature of my work, production typically takes 3–6 weeks. During periods of high demand, this may take longer. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you are commissioning a handmade, bespoke item and agree to the current production lead times.
2. Order Cancellations & Refunds
Because I invest significant time, design effort, and materials into every order from the moment it is placed, I cannot offer full refunds for cancellations.
12-Hour Grace Period: You may request a full refund to your original payment method within 12 hours of placing your order.
After 12 Hours: If you request a cancellation after the 12-hour window, I will provide a 50% refund of your order total. The remaining 50% is non-refundable; this covers the immediate investment of design time, material costs, and the loss of production capacity that could have been allocated to another customer in the queue.
Store Credit Alternative: If you prefer, I am happy to offer a full store credit for the value of your order instead of a partial refund, which can be used for any future purchase at ChurBowl.
3. Damaged or Faulty Items
I take immense pride in the quality of my work.
Full Refunds: A full refund will only be issued if your item arrives damaged or is confirmed to be faulty upon arrival.
Reporting Issues: Please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos of both the item and the packaging so I can assess the issue. In cases of damage, I will prioritize a replacement or repair. If a replacement is not possible, a full refund will be processed.
4. Your Rights
This policy respects the time and resources required to hand-make your custom items. It does not limit any rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).
